BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Caught red handed.

In comments protesting Keystone, foreigners play a key role
"When public comment period on the Keystone XL pipeline ended Friday, opponents of the project could declare victory, since they gathered a little more than 2 million comments on their side compared to the roughly 1 million in support of the proposal.

But there's a wrinkle to the slew of comments that the State Department received as it solicited public input on whether the pipeline--which would ship heavy crude from Canada to oil refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast--would serve the national interest: close to half of the comments in opposition came from people outside the United States.[Emphasis added]
[---]
"Avaaz, a liberal advocacy group with more than 34 million members worldwide, launched an online drive that translated into 954,827 comments against the pipeline, of which just 65,938 were from the U.S. Another 66,817 came from Canada."

Don't Do This To Your Kids

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West reportedly name baby 'North'

Give them a name that won't haunt them their entire lives. They're gonna hate you anyway. Why make it worse.

Yup. The Great Climbdown...

...is now making headlines:

Lawrence Solomon: Climate changing for global warming reporters
"The overwhelming consensus on global warming among journalists may be cracking. Last week, the world’s most prestigious newsmagazine – The Economist – backed away from its past alarmist position, saying that “If climate scientists were credit-rating agencies, climate sensitivity would be on negative watch.” The Economist now discounts the high-end estimates of warming coming from the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as being unlikely if not far-fetched."
Must be awfully difficult for those journalists that staked their careers on it.

At least they can now exhale CO2 without appearing to be hypocrites.

BTW, there's still two or three feet of snow on my front lawn. And it's the middle of freakin' April, for God's sake.

And all that money spent of sequestration and other silly projects? Will we get it back?

Har, Har, Har!!

Deborah Coyne, Liberal Party leadership candidate and former wife of Pierre Trudeau, shows what's wrong with her party. At about 54 seconds she says "We're felling disconnected." What she is referring to is Canadians feeling disconnected from each other. Hah!! It's the Liberal Party that is disconnected, darlin'. Until you face that fact, you're never coming back. What is it with you Trudeau connected Liberals, anyway. Why can't you move on?

What More Proof Do You Need?

Saskatchewan's NDP are toast. Today, they are choosing a new leader. Does anybody care? A bunch of nobodies and never-heard-of-befores, and this is the best they can come up with????

Saskatchewan NDP calls for rent control

They did that waaaaaay back in the 1970s and the result was a disaster. No new rental properties were constructed (surprise, surprise). The total stock of rental housing gradually sunk. Older buildings fell into ruin, because their owners could not recoup their expenses and make a profit.

Apparently, the NDP have not caught on to the fact that the only way to control escalating rents charges is to foster a glut in rental accommodation. To do that, developers need to be confident the effort and investment they put into constructing new apartment buildings (which will eventually result in the glut) will pay off. When the government decrees what investors can charge, the tenant loses. Will they ever learn?

Dear Lamestream Media...

....I don't care if Justin Bieber puked while on stage.  I'm not interested in baby starlets, or for that matter, even adult starlets. But Bieber is a human being, and as such, I think he deserves some dignity. Give it a rest, will you?

Heavy sigh!

This is one of the main reason I cancelled my cable subscription several years ago and put my TV in storage. I'm certain I will never go back. You seem intent of keeping us uninformed and feeding us syrupy pap. Sorry. Not interested.

For Some Strange Reason...

...I've been getting hits from all over the world (from as far away as India) on this entry. Are these people just curious about the Anonymous movement or are they hard-core committed members. Anyway, if it's the later, now they know what I think of them.

God Only Knows...

...how I got on their email list, but I received a message from Anonymous which goes as follows:
"Dear Anonymous,

The purpose of this message is to inform you about the Revolution:

OCCUPY HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT IN LONDON ON NOVEMBER 5, 2012.
OCCUPY CONGRESS IN WASHINGTON D.C. ON NOVEMBER 11, 2012.

STOP WAR.
CANCEL ALL DEBT.
REDISTRIBUTE WEALTH.

Please, watch the "Nazi Banksters Crimes Ripple Effect" movie to find out why, how, and to have sound arguments to persuade others. The movie can be easily found with a search engine.

Please, print the flyers at 2012jubilee.info and distribute them.

Please, spread this message and the movie to everyone you know.

-Anonymous"
I'm so disappointed Canada was left off the list. I guess I'll have to go to Washington.

What demented fools. Oh well, we all need a good laugh from time to time.

I'm quite certain no self-respecting misanthropic member of Anonymous ever visits my blog, so I thought I'd help them out.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Their email address is Anonymous@Anonymous.net. How original.

PS: My guess is they were making use of some bot that scans the internet for email addresses. You know, that tool invented by evil capitalists in the Great Satan. I further guess they don't see any contradiction or hypocrisy in that. Blind as a bat, these folks. Some year, I'm betting some of them, at least, will be taking their masks off and looking at themselves in the mirror. That'll be about the same time they leave the movement and slink off into the mainstream of middle class society in the culture that gave them the luxury of being idiots, hoping that no one will remember they once were stupid fools.

You'll notice the Washington occupation is scheduled to take place just after the up-coming presidential election. Wouldn't want to do anything to harm The One's chances of re-election, now, would we.

PPS: I wonder how many of these idiots know the first thing about the original Guy Fawkes and the times in which he lived. My hunch is, they're not so committed to Catholicism, or even Christianity, and know sweet tweet about the religious tensions of the era. They probably fashion themselves as committed atheists.

What is Canada Famous For?

Why, drunkards in the back seat of cop cars who can sing Bohemian Rhapsody, the whole thing, without prompting, that's what. It's in the news, on Facebook, YouTube, all over the place. And not just in Canada.

Here's a bit about our most famous drunk:

Bohemian Rhapsody in cop cruiser

It was bad enough that he was skunky-drunk, but he was downright stupid, too.

The "Bohemian Rhapsody" Dude Is An Unemployed Home Brewer Who Was Picked Up For DUI
"The video got out because Wilkinson, who is unemployed, decided to defend himself against the charges (of course), and the RCMP gave it to him as part of the case's discovery process. Wilkinson, in turn, did what any serious legal mind would do to prepare his defense: He uploaded the clip to YouTube to amuse his friends."
Unemployed!!?? In Alberta???!!!! ROTFLMAO!! This guy is one dumb fuck. Pardon my language, but there just doesn't seem to be a better way to describe him.

Meet The Talented Canadian Arrestee Who Belted Out "Bohemian Rhapsody" In The Back Of A Police Cruiser
"Before launching into “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Wilkinson, who was not handcuffed, lectured a RCMP officer, claiming that he was not intoxicated. “You’re actually an ignorant fucking cunt. So fuck you buddy,” Wilkinson told the cop, who had earlier pulled over his truck.

An RCMP spokesperson told TSG that the police footage was provided to Wilkinson in the course of discovery in his criminal case, which is pending. In a February Facebook post, Wilkinson reported that he was “seeking council for an impaired driving” charge, adding, “Got the DVD.” Wilkinson told TSG that he was convicted of mischief when he was 18, but that the charge was later expunged from his record.

In late-January, Wilkinson posted a Facebook photo showing the exterior of the Provincial Court of Alberta, along with the comment, “I only have like $1000. I am in trouble with police.” A home brewer, Wilkinson noted in a post last month that he was “solving the worlds problems, one beer at a time.”

Wilkinson's YouTube page includes a video chronicling his 2004 dismissal from the Vancouver Film School, as well as clips showing him twice getting punched in the face by a friend."

Poor Edson. Edson is a small town roughly half way between the City of Edmonton and the mountain resort-town of Jasper. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Other than the bedroom communities just West of Edmonton, there is nothing but dense forest for miles and miles and miles between Edmonton and Jasper. Edson is one of two small single-industry towns on the road. The trip from Edmonton to Jasper takes about six hours and has to be one of the most boring drives in the whole province. I'm sure no one, other than Albertans and a handful of other Canucks, had ever heard of the town before this yahoo's video went viral.

Yesterday...

...Brad Wall's government brought down their budget and it included ending a subsidy for the "Arts Community". Today, the "Arts-Entitled-to-My-Entitlements-Community" is up in arms. Listening to them howl and whine is great entertainment in and of itself.

Thank you Brad Wall!
