Global Warming Today

Yesterday, actually.  Normals = 26 degrees C.  Actual = 24.8 C. Another damned "Oops".

Patrick Moore...

 ...on climate change:

What They Haven't Told You about Climate ChangeNew Video: What They Haven't Told You about Climate ChangeSince time immemorial, our climate has been and will always be changing. Patrick Moore explains why "climate change" far from being a recent human-caused disaster, is, for a myriad of complex reasons, a fact of life on Planet Earth.

Updated NASA Data: Global Warming Not Causing Any Polar Ice Retreat

"Updated data from NASA satellite instruments reveal the Earth’s polar ice caps have not receded at all since the satellite instruments began measuring the ice caps in 1979. Since the end of 2012, moreover, total polar ice extent has largely remained above the post-1979 average. The updated data contradict one of the most frequently asserted global warming claims – that global warming is causing the polar ice caps to recede."
Paging Al Gore. Are you there, Al?

Myth of Arctic meltdown: Stunning satellite images show summer ice cap is thicker and covers 1.7million square kilometres MORE than 2 years ago...despite Al Gore's prediction it would be ICE-FREE by now

Whoa

This is not supposed to happen:

Antarctic Sea Ice Reaches New Record Maximum

I'm sure that's a typo. They meant to say "minimum".

I Know I've Done This To Death, But...

...What you don't know about the climate change debate

"...global warming became climate change after CO2 continued to increase but temperatures stopped rising. They did not say they were switching because the predictions were wrong. Instead, they claimed it was because the future depended on what happened if the world continued with “business as usual”. In other words, here is what will happen if you don’t change your ways."

The Big Climbdown...

...must be pretty close to the bottom rung by now:

Keystone follies: Canadian oil sands not a major source of climate change

"Canada’s oil sands seem to attract lies, half truths and sheer nonsense from every corner, including from Canadians themselves. The current hullabaloo regarding the Keystone pipeline and Canadian oil sands is to climate change as a drop of water is to the ocean."
[---]
"If CO2 is the problem policy makers and pundits should focus the most offensive CO2 perpetrators. U.S. coal-fired power plants emit 2000 million tonnes of CO2 per year vs the oil sands which emit 40 million tonnes per year. U.S. coal-fired electricity plants emit 50 times more CO2 per year than oil produced from the Canadian oil sands. If you add China into the global warning equation we are talking about 100 times more CO2 per year as a result of Chinese coal fired plants than Canadian oil sands."

LOL!!!

It doesn't get any better that this:

If carbon dioxide is so bad for the planet, why do greenhouse growers buy CO2 generators to double plant growth?

"Attacking carbon dioxide is hate speech against Mother Nature"

CAGW Exposed

Global Warming Continues To Pummel Polar Ice Caps By Not Causing Them To Melt

"As I've written previously, we’ve experienced the calmest Hurricane season in 30 years, the quietest tornado season in 60 years; the creation of 19,000 Manhattan islands worth of sea ice, and (again) the Arctic Ice Cap has grown by 533,000 square miles. In 2007, the BBC warned the cap could vanish by 2013. Oh, and we’re at the most industrialized point in human history–and air quality couldn’t be better, according to the EPA."

Academic Mob Chases ‘Climate Change Contrarian’ Bjorn Lomborg Off Campus

"How long before this McCarthyite question is asked of everyone who enters into academia, in order to weed out those who refuse to bow and scrape before green orthodoxy?

If you think this sounds like a far-fetched proposition, consider a recent scandalous act of academic censorship at the University of Western Australia (UWA). And consider, more importantly, the lack of outrage it caused in the West's professorial circles.

It involves Bjorn Lomborg, the blonde-haired, Danish annoyer of environmentalists everywhere."
[---]
"...what can only be described as a ramshackle modern-day Inquisition, which found Lomborg guilty of the crime of denial—not of God, but of climate-change alarmism—and had him cast out of UWA."

How conservatives lost the plot over the rejection of Bjorn Lomborg

Hottest year ever? Giant clam reveals Middle Ages were warmer than today

"While government science and media begin the ramp-up to claim 2014 as the “hottest year ever” China’s Sea’s biggest bivalve shows that the Middle Ages were warmer than today, when Carbon Dioxide was lower."(Emphasis added)

GLOBAL WARMING CULT BAFFLED AS ANTARCTIC ICE CONTINUES TO GROW

Why is Antarctic sea ice at record levels despite global warming?

"While Arctic sea ice continues to decline, Antarctic levels are confounding the world’s most trusted climate models with record highs for the third year running."

Global Warming Wreaks Havoc On Antarctic Research Stations

"And by wreaking havoc, I mean there’s so much sea ice around the continent that access to the research stations has been curtailed. In fact, one station had to be airlifted a year’s worth of supplies since ships could not break through the ice."
