Don't You Wish Journalists...
...understood science?
You and 6,999,999,999 other people
You and 6,999,999,999 other people
"If our numbers are beginning to challenge the ecological carrying capacity of the globe, it is only through our own success. Whether we can save ourselves from extinction will depend largely on what got us here in the first place: human ingenuity."Yes. Yes. Yes. It's entirely possible homo sapiens have reached the max. We may have to deal with the consequences, but we are hardly the first or only species to reach the precipice of the carrying capacity of the eco-niche that sustains us. That does not mean we will become extinct. It only means we may experience a die-off that returns the planet to a more balanced place. That is how species and carrying capacity operate. A species that meets and then exceeds the carrying capacity of it's niche will begin to experience stress and, as a consequence, enough will die that the balance will be restored. It's not the end of the species. Just the end of the stress created by over population. Sheesh, you people. I guess if global warming hysteria hasn't worked you have to dig up some other pseudo-scientific scam in order to keep your jobs. I have a better idea. In order to "save" the planet, or even the species, why don't you volunteer to go first?

Ever Heard About Izzy Hirji?
No. I hadn't either. Maybe that's because he inhabits the fringes:
Izzy Hirji "GUYS GUYS GUESS WHAT!?!?!? ITS INTERNATIONAL ORANGUTAN AWARENESS WEEK! YEAHHHHHHHHH"
Izzy Hirji "Yeahh enviro! and congrats to all of you finally getting facebook lol"
Izzy Hirji on Twitter.
Izzy Hirji shows his colour.
Izzy Hirji wearing weeds in his hair.
Izzy Hirji fantasizing about romping in the Amazon rainforest.
And the Southasian rainforests.
Izzy Hirjispeaking howling at Guelph University:
Lizzy May will be proud of him.
Free Dominion has a good rundown on this idiot and his associates.
And Kevin Libin tells it like it is.
PS: This is what our universities produce. How sad.

More CBC G20 Coverage
G20 crowds, police engage in standoffs
PS: They're even protesting in Vancouver!
"At mid-afternoon, police in riot gear began partly surrounding a group of bicyclists who had staged a protest through downtown demanding more rights for cyclists."[---]
"At one point, plainclothes police arrived, entered the crowd and began to arrest several people.[---]
"They knew who they were looking for," the CBC's Bill Gillespie reported. "These are trained police snatch squads using intelligence on finding suspected troublemakers."
"According to the ISU, the number arrested in G20-related incidents had risen to 604, with 253 arrests reported Sunday."[---]
"Seventy people were rounded up after police said they found makeshift weapons, including bricks, and black clothing hidden in bushes. It's believed the bricks were to be used by vandals who had caused widespread damage Saturday."[---]
"Const. Rob McDonald told reporters it was his understanding that people from across Canada had been arrested: "They were found in possession of bricks and other items that could compromise the safety of the citizens of Toronto."Not too much evidence of bias in that one, I will admit, but true to form, loyal CBCers let 'er rip in the comments.
Four other people were arrested in the early morning after they were caught coming out of a city sewer in the financial district on Queen Street West between Yonge and Bay streets."

Civilian casualties or civilian pawns?
This: Photos that damn Hezbollah and this: UN Observer Post Used by Hizballah give you all you need to know about Hezbollah and its tactics in the war with Israel. It's a sinister ruse, yet the lamestream media together with it's leftwing groupies just keep lapping it all up.
If that's not enough for folks like the catnip, try this: Obsession: What the War on Terror is Really About. Of course, if you want to carry on with your silly anti-Americanism, go right ahead. We all know you're a useful fool.
