I Smell An Election Coming
"Canada will ban people who participate in "barbaric cultural practices" from immigrating to Canada, Immigration Minister Chris Alexander said Wednesday.
He said the Zero Tolerance for Barbaric Cultural Practices Act, which will be tabled Wednesday, focuses on polygamy and forced marriages.
He said the bill will make it clear to anyone wishing to enter the country — as well as those born in Canada — that domestic violence, genital mutilation, forced marriages, and polygamy are illegal in Canada and "won't be tolerated.""
That howling you hear is Liberals with their knickers in a knot.

AAAALLLLLRIIIIGHT!!!!
Brace yourselves for a lot of howling, whining and crying from the usual crowd. (I've been harbouring this secret theory that most political movements in Canada start in Saskatchewan. Maybe it's true!!)
You know, we spent the first 70 years as a nation under primarily Conservative governments, the next 70+ years under primarily Liberal Governments. Perhaps, 70 years is about what it takes for the pendulum to complete a trip.
Just the thought of the Liberals anointing Baby Trudeau only to see the party permanently incinerated is the stuff of pleasant dreams. I shall sleep well tonight.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Yeah, right. All you gotta do is make a list of what YOU think conservatives think and then define it as "Low-Effort Thinking". No effort needed.
Is this what passes for "science" today? Guess so. These are the same folks who are convinced that correlation equals cause and effect in the global warming scam.
Here's how it works, leftards. Many of us conservatives started out believing the leftard mantras, but slowly came to our senses and are now conservative. We observe. We learn. We adapt. We don't end up killing millions of people because of it, unlike some notable leftists.

Holy Crap!!
=====================================
That was sudden, and waaaay too early. Only the good die young.
He was just interviewed recently on Sun TV, where he said he was going to totally revamp his website Breitbart (In my blogroll under Right Thinking Columnists.) You'll note that two of the three links in my first paragraph are from big Canadian dailies and one is from Britain. That's pretty significant, on more than one level, namely that the man had a global impact and that it just goes to show the power of the internet, especially in offering an avenue for the voices of people on the right to be heard and to hear their voices reflected in media. It also goes to show that we really ought to be thankful for every day we are alive. Get up early and get at it.
I, for one, will really miss him. I hope his website will continue on.
