Aw, There Is A God...Part II

(Part I is here.)

Kenney names 27 countries as 'safe' in refugee claim dealings

A full list of designated countries, as they currently stand, is given in the above article.

EU countries dominate new list affecting refugee claims in Canada

Duh!! These countries are also known as Western Civilization. There's a reason the word "civilization" is in there.

Hungarian, Latvian refugee claims among those to be fast-tracked as Canada unveils ‘safe country’ list

List is in this one, as well.

‘Safe’ refugee nation list continues
"Having dispensed with Canada’s first list of countries from which refugee claims will be fast-tracked, immigration officials must now wrestle with the next one.

In some ways, it will likely be a much more difficult list to compile.

The first batch of the so-called “designated countries of origin” list, unveiled Friday, includes 25 European Union member states, the United States and Croatia.

They are all countries the government has declared as being generally safe and therefore unlikely to produce real refugee claimants."
[---]
"The list was drawn up by first examining which countries produce the highest rates of failed claimants — claims that are abandoned, withdrawn or rejected by the Immigration and Refugee Board.

Countries with a failure rate of 75 per cent or better are candidates for the list.

In Hungary’s case, for example, 93 per cent of the 3,249 claims finalized in the first nine months of this year were rejected. Croatia saw 92 per cent of claims rejected; the Slovak Republic, 98 per cent. All three are on the list."
That sound you hear is the howling of leftards. I know it's an annoying, cloying sound, but just get some earplugs, cause the big rollback of Libtardism has a ways to go yet.

A long ways...

All those "human rights" lawyers that make such a nice living representing those faux claimants, sucking on the public teat, will lose a big chunk of their income. Don't expect them to accept this without a fight. They'll marshal all the Libtard politicians and MSM Presstitutes to aid them in the fight.

I hope the Conservatives stick to their guns in this fight. It's winnable and it's the right thing to do.

The Liberal Party has been the natural governing party (with a few brief blips of various brands of large C conservatism intermittently thrown in for good measure) since the second half of the 1930s. (About the same time as CBC Radio began broadcasting - surprise, surprise. No relation there, of course.)

So, I expect we will have to have a good long stretch of large C conservatism in order to undo the mess created by the Natural Governing Party. Whether they will come back to life remains to be seen. That's why I'm rooting for Trudeau-the-Younger. That will be certain to give the current version of Cons at least one more kick at the can.

It's too soon, for me, anyway, to hope for a long stretch of conservatism. I'm waiting with baited breath to see what happens with Rob Ford. If we're going to beat back Libtardism, it will likely have to happen in Toronto, first. Thats were all the big media is,and most of that is Liberal in orientation. Of course, Montreal has its share of liberal media, too.

I have a hunch liberalism is done for, though. But my problem is, I've never been one to trust my own hunches and I don't like the taste of humble pie. I would imagine micemeat to be similar.

Refugee advocates say the new rules will lead to more mistakes in the refugee determination process, and could see people sent back to persecution or even death in their home countries.

Dear advocates. If they don't like the rules in Canada, there are 200 other countries in the world that they could try. I don't see how it is necessarily our responsibility just because they chose to claim refugee status here.
