Shit You Just Can't...
Body in Chinese river turns out to be sex doll
I hear they have some mighty strange aphrodisiacs in China, too.

I wonder what was this inflatable lady's offense. Infidelity?
Maybe she was just unhappy about being used, so she jumped in the river.
Gotta wonder, too, about who alerted the authorities. Maybe her boyfriend had a fight with her.
Just think. Instead of saying "Not tonight dear. I have a headache.", all she'd have to do is pull her plug and deflate. By the time her beau blows her up again, he'll have lost interest.
Seriously, all we have to do is await another 40 years of computer development, when androids will be able to be built with computer brains powerful enough to do a pretty good imitation of human-level intelligence and small enough to fit into a human skull sized android skull.
I read a fascinating lengthy article in Scientific American a few years ago by the Professor of Electrical Engineering who is the head of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center at Carnegie-Mellon University (one of the leading centers on this in the world). It was on the future development of Artificial Intelligence, continual computer processing power increases and robot design. It's coming, for good and ill, it's coming!
Based on Moore's Law on the 18 month cycle of doubling transistors, and therefore processing power, on a CPU and the amount of real-time processing power needed to handle human level interactions, this professor (wish I could find the link to his article! :-( says it'll be approximately 2050 when computer CPUs are small enough/powerful enough to be up to the task.
Anyone remember the sci-fi movies "Westworld" and "Future World"?
In case anyone thinks Artificial Intelligence and androids are strictly science-fiction, think where humanity was 50 years ago, 100 years ago. What the mind of man can imagine, the mind of man can build.
When my 4 year old grand-niece and 1 year old grand-nephew are mature adults, it'll be a very different world from today. When their children are mature adults, they'll look at 2010 as we today look at 1810.
I'm trying to think of something to say, but I'm all out of snark.
Plus the response that comes to mind is not suitable for mixed company.
Computers and sex?? Come on Dave!
Oh, and I've remember another recent one from China:

Does Chairman Mao know about this? What page in the Little Red Book should we be looking for?
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I just read the Mirror article. "Mushroom-like 'Fleshy Monster'". ROTFLMAO!!
Which reminds me. Sometime over the next day or two I'm going to post the story of the "Sewer Monster" and three very scared kids.
