About Me
- Name: Louise
- Location: Canada
A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Anyone who is zealously anti-American and anti-democracy in the Middle East is NOT welcome.

She says, "Now, pay attention: 'Once upon a time, there was a wonderful little Princess, with a new baby brother...' " :-)
Yup. No squabbles yet, that I know of, although she made he mother cry one day when she whined that there was no one around to look after her. Mommy was busy nursing the little brother.
My 2 1/2 yr old grand-niece is pulling some of the same nonsense now that she has a new baby brother. She's no longer the star of the show, but a supporting actress, so to speak.
Just like with my nephew's wife, Mommy's going to have to learn to not let darling daughter guilt-trip her into feeling bad. A Mommy with a toddler and a newborn baby has all her time and energy spoken for! And with a newborn, Mommy's in a pretty constant state of sleep-deprivation, to boot!
(How the hell my Mom did it with five...and all those Moms back in the days of big families managed it all just amazes me. When I get to Heaven, my first item on my to-do list is to thank my Mom and Dad! :-)
I wonder about that, too. I'm the second of five kids. My mom had no electricity or hot and cold running water until I was about 10 or 11.
She grew a huge garden every summer and canned and pickled everything. Bought caseloads fruit and canned that.
Makes me exhausted just thinking about it. None of her four girls did much around the house, either. Being in the barn with dad was more exciting.
