About Me
- Name: Louise
- Location: Canada
A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Anyone who is zealously anti-American and anti-democracy in the Middle East is NOT welcome.

Whoa!, damn near came out walking.
I suspect mommy would confirm that.
Again, congratulations to you and your family, Louise.
I have a new grand-nephew, born about 2 weeks ago. Named John Anthony, after his grandfathers. John Anthony was born with a fairly serious amount of jaundice and was kept in the hospital for a number of extra days, undergoing treatment. Thank God, he's better now and at home with his loving family.
Not as big as your lad, John Anthony came out 7 lbs and some ounces. A very handsome fellow, if I do say so! :-)
I like that name. Has a classic aura to it.
7 lbs and some sounds much more civilized.
Do they let mommies stay in the hospital while baby in under the lamp (or whatever the treatment was)? Kinda hard to breastfeed, if they don't, which we all know is best for babes.
Anyway, congrats to you and your now further extended family too.
I don't know about you, but I think it's kinda nice being an old fart watching the family expand.
The mom only stayed in the hospital a couple of days and had to part from the lad, as he was undergoing those lamp treatments. Big sister (2 1/2 yrs old) was very upset and cried when Mommy came home without her new brother. She couldn't understand...but everybody's home now and it's onwards and upwards.
