I got a 30 month old grand-daughter who sees me regularly on average once a week and I have not yet been able to persuade her that I am her mother's father. Neither can her mother. It must be because it is so far fetch for her.
Maybe she has the notion that kids have to be little. Grownups have no parents.
Well that could be it. Anyway, when she turns three, I am sketching out a family tree for her. It might confuse her considering I am divorced from the mother of my daughter. The X also lives in the same town, who is regularly in her life as well and who is married to another guy and both are living in my house that I handed over to her mortgage free. Wait, I must stop now, I am sliding into a rant about how unfair life is to divorced males. Poor poor pitiful me.
