Yup. The Eco-Freaks are just against any energy development that isn't (borrowing a quote from an SDA comment) from moonbeams and unicorn farts. They don't want what would make America and Canada strong-large amounts of inexpensive, nowadays very clean carbon-based energy. Oil and gas, shale oil and gas, coal liquification and gassification, nuclear - they hate them all. Any excuse to stop or delay is a good one, the schweinhundts.
