Sh!t, Meet Fan
"As the scandal between David Petraeus and Paula Broadwell continues to unfold, we need to remember one thing -- Petraeus may be one of the few people who actually knows what happened in Benghazi."Holder lashes out at The Daily Caller while refusing to address growing calls for his resignation
White House 'Held Affair Over Petraeus's Head' For Favorable Testimony On Benghazi
And, as if that wasn't enough:
West letter to secretary of state
Good-bye America.
(PS: I've been on this planet long enough to know that America holds its scandals in the public arena. Watergate, for example, or the Iran hostage crisis. But this one has a different feel about it. It's not just the nefarious doings of a President that are rocking the nation, although that's certainly part of the cocktail. Nope. This one goes to the heart of the democratic process. I sincerely hope this is not "good-bye America", but it sure has a feel about it. Sixty-five years at the top of the heap is not that long. But then, everything moves faster these days. And it used to be that the enemy was external. Now the enemy is not just within, it's in the innermost sanctum. Hope you can weather it, neighbours.)
