At this point, I can only say it's a shame those Spec. Forces soldiers didn't finish off Khadr on the spot. A bullet to the head is what he deserves and what would have saved all this BS.
It might not be over. There's a movement afoot to pressure parliament into taking a serious look at high treason charges. I hope it succeeds. We'll be setting a very bad president if we let him live the life of Riley. I only wish we still had the death penalty. A good old-fashioned firing squad would be just the ticket.
Or, failing that, an actual real life (no parole) behind bars in a dark, dank dungeon.
Maybe you still could do a deal with Afghanistan or somebody else for the whole Khadr gang? Like throw in a few barrels of oil or whatever.
