I have great regard for Elizabeth Deux Regina...but not so for the rest of her family. Maybe Diana's new genes, mixed with Windsors in her sons, will "improve the breed".
BTW, there's a thread at SDA, "Canajun, eh?" It refers to a BBC "insightful analysis" of what it means to be Canadian.
Inasmuch as the Comrade Journalists at the Beeb are clueless of what historically it means to be British, their take on Canada and Canadians is truly a waste of electrons. I got as far as reading their reference to John Ralston Saul for an intellectual's interpretation. At that point, my gag reflex kicked in.

Hmmmm. Good thing they don't have comments enabled at that BBC website. I'd take issue with plenty of what they have to say.
They must have polled a handful of Torontonians living in the downtown area, and that's their idea of Canada.
