Perhaps my Yankee friends can do something about this. We are friends, right? Spread the word.

When Obama talks about the Canadian oil shale, he says American oil. So America has a right to use 'our' oil and a right to stop 'our' oil from being extracted from your country's land.
Damn Yanks!!
Blocking the Keystones XL pipeline from Canada to Oklahoma really has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican politics. The fact is, the pipeline could never be built through the Pineridge Indian Reservation with Oglala and Crow approval. So far the US government hasn't even approached the tribes to ask. There's a 50 mile corridor between the two reservations the Canadian company suggested to move the pipeline, but the Indians own the rights to the Oglala aquifer and by treaty have the right of refusal to any surface land use. The tribes have three different treaties dealing with rights to that particular land. In the video, there's a map of the US with the existing pipelines shown; notice there's a big hole that is S.Dakota - that's the reservation land that has been kept pipeline free for a hundred years and it's not about to be changed anytime soon.
