Unintended Consequences
Of course, that's not nearly as bad as dead ducks.

Cry fowl and let loose the ducks of lawfare! :-)
I have a private giggle fest whenever the words "dead duck" reach my ears. "Feeling like a dead duck" is a line from an old Jethro Tull song - Aqualung - hence the video (which I hope you can see ;-))
Once, many, many moons ago, when I was still married and living in Saskatoon going to university, we were playing Aqualung on the record player.
We had invited a couple of friends over and had just sat down to eat. I've roasted a duck maybe five times (if that) in my entire life and that was what was on offer that evening. Just as we began to carve into the beast, the words "feeling like a dead duck" came forth from the speakers. We all laughed. I still laugh when I think about that incident. The timing was so perfect.
Jethro Tull! You have good taste!
Here's my favorite Jethro Tull.
