A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Anyone who is zealously anti-American and anti-democracy in the Middle East is NOT welcome.

I was struck by that beautiful woman in the right side of the linked article's photo. I have to admit, a lot of those Arab women are really good looking. Pity they're accustomed to wearing uber-body-covering clothes, since a woman isn't fit to be seen on Allah's earth.
Interesting sociological point. Unique from America's wars, there hasn't been a flood of war brides brought home by GIs from the War on Terror. I remember reading there were over 100,000 English brides brought home by GIs who'd served in Britain in WW2. Over the post-war decades, I'd guess there have been hundreds of thousands of other foreign brides from Europe, SE Asia, the Phillipines, Korea brought over here by their GI husbands. I've known a good number of American servicemen or ex-servicemen & their wives, who met their wives overseas. Of course, if a woman can find herself "honor-killed" for even having a conversation with a strange man, that would tend to depress courtship and marriage stats. Thank you, God, for me being born and living in civilized North America!!!
Now if I were young again and found a Genie in a bottle who gave me a wife wish, I'd pick an Italian girl. I love Italians, their culture. I know this won't make much sense but I think their really melodious-sounding language reflects their mindset, their warmth and humanity.
I'm grinning. The sight of a beautiful woman really go you going. ;-)
