We had a King Ralph, but he was only king of Alberta.
He, of "Shoot, shovel and shut up" fame.
Speaking of Charles the Stupid, I like the old names given to the early English kings:
Edward the Magnificent
Eric Bloodaxe
Ethelred the Unready
Edward the Confessor
William the Bastard
Llywelyn the Last
William the Conqueror
No doubt most of those appellations were acquired after their reigns.
