Same here. I get a very sad, sick feeling when I read stories like this.
"Randall Hopley, 46, has a criminal record for assault, sexual assault and 12 break-ins." A record like this and the swine wasn't sent to prison for a decade or two? THAT is the problem. And THAT is why Canada DOES need to build more prisons and put habitual offenders away for a long time, not "revolving door" sentences that do not protect society. Or in this case, do not protect 3 year old Kienan Hebert. He is the victim here of the liberal concept of "justice" and "criminal punishment".
