Summer heat waves, winter cold snaps ... proof of Apocalyptic Global Warming, um, "Climate Change".
I don't know which I hate more, heat waves or cold snaps. Besides "snaps" seems a poor choice of words, seeing as how they usually last three weeks unrelentingly. I think I'll settle for heatwaves with air conditioning and cool basements.
