And Jesus, Chucky-poo, if you endorsed some causes that resonate with people, maybe, at least, you might get some attention. Otherwise, shut up and accept your fate. The British monarchy, at least outside of Britain, is irrelevant. If you can't achieve celebrity status, and at this late stage in your life, it's pretty obvious you're not going to, the least you could do is act as if you love your son and be a good father.

It appears that as far as most of the Brit people are concerned, the Chuckster irredeemably screwed the pooch with his despicable behavior towards his wife, Princess Diana, and with Mrs. Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Besides which, many are also alienated by his general stupidity and vacuity, his eco-warrior BS, his preaching about how people need to live more deprived lives, to save the planet, while he lives in the lap of luxury.
Weakness, stupidity, selfish self-centeredness, hypocrisy. I can't think of a single good point about Charlie Windsor.
Well, to engage in a bit of psycho-babble, Chucky had a very strained, loveless relationship with his own father and it shows. Maybe he should devote his time to working on behalf of abused children. It would be a natural for him, but I guess the stiff upper lip is too deeply embedded in the British psychi.
I remember when he was 14 years old he went into a London pub and ordered a cherry brandy. It was a big scandal, but I think that was the only act of self-assertion he ever committed. If he had any balls, he would never have married Diana. It was quite obvious there was no love there. It's amazing his kids seem to have been unscathed, although of the two, Harry seems to have faired better. He's his own man, and unlike his father, he is an actual man.
