Obama would repeat bin Laden raid

"U.S. President Barack Obama says he would be prepared to launch another covert military raid into Pakistan similar to the mission that killed Osama bin Laden if a leading militant figure were found to be hiding in the country.

In an interview Sunday with the BBC before his state visit to Britain, Obama said his administration is "very respectful" of Pakistan's sovereignty, but added "our job is to secure the United States."

"We cannot allow someone who is planning to kill our people or our allies' people — we can't allow those kind of active plans to come to fruition without us taking some action," Obama told interviewer Andrew Marr."

Has a familiar ring to it, doesn't it?
