Only in Canada

A man who murders his two children and attempts to murder their mother gets three "life" sentences and will be eligible for parole in 18 years.

Hmmmm.

If I had my way, he'd be hanged at dawn.

Oh, but he was "depressed about his separation from his wife and the couple's pending divorce."

Bring back the death penalty for child killers, serial killers and mass murderers. It will make the rest of us safer. It's got nothing to do with deterrents or punishment.

So, if I'm "depressed" about my finances, that mitigates my guilt if I rob a bank? Amazing, the crap that liberals believe about crime, criminals and punishment.
