Hitler like Harper began his tyranny by shutting down what he referred to as degenerate arts. Harper has also constructed mega prisons and implemented tougher laws for cannabis users. Crime in Canada has been on the decline for years.

"One legislative change alone — the abolishment of the two-for-one pre-trial custody credit — is expected to add 4,000 more inmates to the system over the next five years, according to estimates by the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
The government is moving ahead with other proposals including tightened parole rules and more mandatory minimum sentences.
There are roughly 13,500 inmates in 54 institutions. In many prisons, inmates are already double bunked, living two to a cell designed for one. The practice contravenes international standards on the treatment of prisoners and is known to fuel tension and violence.
After years of neglect they are finally doing something to upgrade and fix the crowded conditions that exist in most prisons and finally doing something to address the lax sentences handed out by the primarily (L)iberal justice system. Of course, leftards will whine, but too bad, so sad. You lost. Someone is finally listening to the Canadian electorate, not the bleeding-heart do-gooder "experts" who believe the tripe that you've just spouted.
