A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Yeah, poor Markie. A US federal court felony sentence is what it is. NOT a Canajun sentenced-to-10-years-out-in-6-months-with-a-spanking sentence.
IF Markie behaves, plus gets into some productive work and/or educational programs while in prison, he can get a small fraction of his sentence commuted. In the Sun article, they said up to a 15% reduction but I believe it's less than that. The article also noted he's been sent to a medium security prison in Mississippi. That's worse than a minimum security "country club" prison but not as bad as a "Cool Hand Luke" maximum security prison. That's bad enough so Markie ought to use his brains and go along to get along, for once.
On the other hand, if Markie chooses to be an arrogant, antagonistic anti-American pr*ck with other inmates and prison staff, he can expect to end up serving all or almost all of his federal sentence.
Karma can be a b*tch, eh?!
