Why the Arab World's Young People...

...are sooo much better than their old fart leaders:

'Cold peace' better than war for Egyptians
"A group of Egyptian friends in Al-Azhar Park on Saturday in Cairo. All five said they favour preserving their country's peace agreement with Israel."
[---]
"“It would be difficult to change the peace agreement,” said law student Mohamed Samir, 22. “It would only happen if the Muslim Brotherhood took over. Everybody else would try to keep the peace agreement.”"
I wonder if that would translate into votes for non-Muslim Brotherhood candidates in Egyptian elections?

And just out of curiosity, I wonder what a 'hot peace' is? Bush parties on the Sinai Peninsula? A kosher/halal barbeque party? Intermarriage, sharing of genetic material?

At this moment, dictator Gaddafiis is on Libyan State TV, ranting and raving. Besides being a brutal b*st*rd, that man is nuts. Al Jazeera is streaming it now.

Bush parties on the Sinai Peninsula? Impossible. No bushes there. Getting stoned, though, is easy. In all senses.

Didn't he give some long rambling senseless speech at the United Nations a couple of years ago? It was supposed to last 20 minutes or some such limit, but he went on and on and on and on. Other speeches had also been scheduled so it put the whole thing out of kilter. I guess he loves to hear himself pontificating.

Not even palm trees with dates? Burning bushes? Surely you jest.

As long as the stoning happens after the hot piece - er - peace has been achieved.
