It's Enough to Make Me Endorse

...Justin Trudeau.

No only does this have PETA in a fit of pique, but CBC is actually polling its readers on the issue, no doubt in an attempt to ascertain whether PETA and their cockamamie cause is worth endorsing in an attempt to shore up the Corpse's pathetic ratings.

In the spirit of troublemaking, I just voted for fur.

So did I, this morning. The "Yes" vote was ahead by a substantial margin then, but it's lead is even greater now.

I mean, good grief. We live in a cold country and the fur trade is a big part of our history and heritage.

We ought to be able to wear fur in the winter without raising eyebrows or causing the CBC to salivate over the possibility of scandal.

Mind you, this was the Trudeau dynasty at the centre of this story, so tread softly, tread softly.

As of 12:53 EST, it's Yes, 59.58%/3,560 votes; No 38.46%/2,298 votes; I'm not sure 1.82%/109 votes. I'm a Yes vote.

BTW, unless these whining PETA morons NEVER eat meat, dairy products, NEVER wear leather, they are hypocrites.

When I was a teenager, my best friend's father was a self-employed furrier. This gentleman worked with ranch-bred animal pelts. The coats, stoles, etc. that he made were beautiful works of craftsmanship, as well as very practical and fashionable garments for N. American winters.

I see no moral difference between eating a ranch-bred roast beef; wearing a ranch-bread mink coat or wearing ranch-bred leather shoes. These PETA types are [expletive] nihilistic morons.

Besides, coyotes are a renewable resource; just ask any farmer/rancher.
