A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Anyone who is zealously anti-American and anti-democracy in the Middle East is NOT welcome.

I think this is all in the name of 'diversity':
Earlier in March, Canadian Universities hosted the anti-Israel events by left-wing/Muslim anti-Semites.
They are balancing it now by hosting an event with Ann Coulter: a right-wing/Christian anti-Semite!
Of course, even anti-Semites will be 'warned' to watch what they say....if they are right-wing!
Don't get me wrong: free speech is for everyone, even idiots. Nobody should be gagged or bullied - we must all be free to speak!
I just think that we need to be critical of bigots everywhere - regardless of left or right. And, Ann Coulter is a bigot, plain and simple, who admits she supports 'local fascism'....so much for her devotion to the principals of freedom!
I think her "offensiveness" is a deliberate act meant to call out people on the left who get all prissy about everything under the sun, but who themselves believe and speak outrageously about anyone who disagrees with them.
Her entire shtick is about exposing hypocrisy and she does an exquisite job of it - by making people do the very thing they accuse the right of doing. Remember the title of her first book? Tongue in cheek, "How to talk to a liberal (if you must)".
She does it to see their eyes to bug out of their heads, spittle come out of their mouths and steam come out of their ears. The fact that it works every time just proves her point.
About the best one could say about anyone who takes her words at face value is that they have been succored.
To put it more succinctly, she is deliberately revealing the double standard, namely, the things that she says are no more outrageous than the things said by, say, radical Islamists, or other poster-children of the left, but the left will always, WITHOUT FAIL make excuses for it, ignore it or, worse yet, outright support it.
This says it all.
It doesn't matter what comes of her complaint, she is sticking it in the eye of the colossus: left wing hypocrisy. If they dismiss it, she proves the point. If they take it seriously, and she wins, she will effectively make the thought police a pathetic joke. Either way, Canada should be grateful.
