A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. In terms of climate-change hypocrisy, a brief anecdote:
Saturday, while waiting for a bus, I picked up loose trash in the bus shelter to put in the can provided. Already in that can was a 500 ML plastic water bottle with an "Earth" logo. Plucking it out to investigate, I discovered that the bottle had contained reverse-osmosis water (tap water forced through a membrane; i.e. filtered) sold by drinkearthwater.org in partnership with the UN refugee agency, with the proceeds to go to food and clean-water projects run by the UN. Yes, that would be the same UN taking the developed world to task for harming the environment. Where to start, cataloguing all the things wrong with this picture?
